The Department of Chemistry was established in the year 2017 and its offers UG programme – B.Sc., Chemistry, with a faculty strength of four qualified members. The department is supported by two technical staff and one non-technical staff. A laboratory measuring to the area of 3000 Square feet with a state of art is accommodated with 50 work stations supported by necessary facilities like Digital weighing Balance, Hot air Oven, Magnetic Stirrer, Centrifuge Machine, Potentiometer, Conductivity Meter, Viscometer, Vacuum Pump etc.Students acquire sound knowledge on different branches of Chemistry such as Organic Chemistry & Natural Products, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry. The course is supported by elective subjects on Applied chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Nanomaterials& Green Chemistry and Spectroscopy.Students are simultaneously taught the practical courses to nourish their scientific temperament.
